How much oil do you use?

Hi guys i was just wondering what kind of oil consumption we should realistically expect from our wedges. I know that our cars have many variations even when badged the same (and that's from the factory!) but wanted to get an idea of how much people find they need to top up.

It is my understanding that some variants of the RV8 as applied to the wedges are designed to use a certain amount of oil and it is to be expected.

Is this correct?

Yes. This is my third V8 Wedge and they all seem to use a little amount of oil and also they all seem to leak a little from somewhere or other. The 400SE I have now uses the least, perhaps about half a pint every couple of thousand miles.
