I worry about the oil companies, they have shareholders, directors and Billionaire Sheikhs to keep.

Bout time. The price of Brent crude has been dropping like a stone from mid-March $121/barrel to current price of just over $113/barrel! ranting

I dont begrudge oil companies and producers/exporters making money, they do all the work to bring us our petrol. The Government do fk all yet hang onto the coat tails and drain the biggest share. Feckless fks.

It was only back in March the Saudi's said they'd up production because even they want the oil price to come down. Knowing our luck it'll drop just in time for Osborne's rise. The problem is we dont want Oil to drop below $80 a barrel because then he'll bring back fuel duty rises, so we want it to go down but not too far smile

What to you mean 'bring back duty rises'?

There's a 13p per gallon rise planned for August, with more due in January.

Robbing tts.

I was unaware of anything due for January, I thought this August was the last of Darling's rises. Osborne will have to cancel the January one he'll have no choice.

What was it before the peak? - My local station was 134.9 then 142.9 for a bit, now 139.9 - So it's still 5p higher than it was a month or so ago

It had been knocking around the 136.9 mark since christmas on the whole and hit 143.9 over the panic buying phase.
