you can't believe that the kbhead of a steward would just stand there and ignore itoh well lesson learn't....
Tony , I for one will never go to a breakfast meet at Goodwood again, took my F430 to the supercar one in 2010, I really st meet, Goodwood open these mornings to the public purely to cash in on owners cars who become the exhibit, you can't get breakfast if you want, my car was scratched, knobheads with buckles and zips leaning all over your car, massive q to get in and a tractor giving rides, driving past cars within inches, the big tyres nearly took off the front off a F40.I was there for half hour and was told I could not leave, I just drove out and made my escape,I now only got to meets like PH , drivers cars for drivers not public masses
Had to be done, kind of assumed the rain would ease off but... No, it didn't.
Echo what Tony said, dire day, weather was nothing to do with it. Queued for 2 hrs to get in, got a decent parking spot next to an SLS and made my way to the grid to see what was there.
Saw the Shmeemobile plus notable other supercars such as the Mazda 6 people carrier, Ford Mondeo and Fiat Punto with spoiler. Honestly, it was an absolute joke.
Goodwood have apologised on their Facebook page, the queues and the crap cars inside the circuit were because the fields normally used for parking were too boggy so EVERYONE had to be allowed in.
I'm a GRRC member and will continue to be, but I will never darken breakfast club doors again unless I get there like Tim at 7am or so. And I rarely fancy a 5:30ammstart on a Sunday!
Shame

I left about 20 minutes after we met feeling cold and rather bemused by the purpose of the day. I got there at 7.50 and spent the next 20 minutes getting in. I saw you in the queue just as I was about to turn in and had seen all that was there by the time you arrived an hour later. The bacon roll was good however.oh well lesson learn't....
The queue waiting to get in by the time I left ran way past the golf course entrance and as you say, there were some fine cars waiting to get in but also a few in the Renault Scenic bracket.
Shame that he roads were rather less full of grip than they might have been-I even got an ice warning going past the race course followed by running water a bit further on!.
Hey Ho - the merry month of May.
Blimey, sounds like a day in a busy supermarket car park with on site catering!!!
Tony, seriously people putting drinks on the roof of your car?? I would have kicked off at that as well!!! And as for people leaning and cavorting around other peoples expensive cars would have just been too much to bare!!!! Lack of respect for other peoples P&J!!!!

hit the nail on the head.....would have been better off going to retail park and just parking....at least i could have gone into one of the shops to have a coffee and warm up...
now thats an idea.....who's up for a meet in a car park , surrounded by fking idiots....but at least the bacon butties will be cheaper.....

Got up at the crack of dawn to avoid the queue's, well that plan didn't work. I took the AM down and my son and grandson followed in the Cerb. Only went down because my car mad grandson was really looking forward to it. Couldnt belive the queues, but the worst thing was being directed to the
same place as a load of Euro box ste. Whats the point of putting a load of crap like that next to
supercars? You had to walk half a mile to get to the pits. Wont be going again. £70 in fuel for me plus 2hours washing and drying the cars before putting them away. Will only ever go again if they
guarantee to keep the cars seperate. And as for dheads putting coffee on the roof, they want to thank their lucky stars they didnt put cups on the Cerbera roof cause my son is a bit of a handful
he wouldn't have said anything, he would just punch them straight in the face. A mate of mine came out of a pub one day and found some bloke sitting on his Harley. He didnt say anything, just smacked him in the head with his full face helmet. It knocked him out cold. That bloke learnt the hard way.

I've only been to about 4 or 5 Goodwood Breakfast Club's, but I've enjoyed every one and not encountered a problem.
The car parking situation was down to the bogged down fields people normally park in; you can't have expected anybody to put up with the trouble there would have been if all the public cars had gone into mud... Hence the long queues as everybody had to come in and out of the main entrance, and the supercars/public cars being mixed together later on.
As one of the first arrivals, and last departures, I had no queue in or out - happy days!
