Nice to see someone putting a show on, even if it is a little tongue and cheek

Quite amazing: I was so impressed I watched it twice as I went round the halls talking to friends and renewing acquaintances.
The fact is that this video confirms first hand, the exceptionally easy build and quality of build, that can be achieved using this one donor design.
I know of no other kit car that fits together like this and even the original loom can be used! As a veteran on many build I wish I had found this sort of quality and organised, methodical approach, years ago. It would have saved many grey hairs. And an awful lot of my wasted time and costs.
The designer of Meccano, Mt Hornby, would be bowing to your efforts Stuart Mills. Well done indeed and full marks to the build team.
That is the way to do it.

I remember watching Mike Brewer and Ed China doing some spanner work at the NEC Classic show working on an old Porsche, the snag is that unless you wish to spend hours watching then very little change occurs, I remember going back later in the day and thinking that they had done a fair few bits but was not around on day 2 to see it completed. I felt a mad blast and a lot of prep was the way to show a couple of hundred people every 2 hours how we roll b4 they got bored or leg ache.
I also gave a short commentary but the lads were far too quick, they completed the task b4 I had the chance to point out what was going off! Great fun for us to do though and I hope those that didn't own a kit car that watched could see between the lines they could manage a project and will get involved in the scene rather than just as spectators.
Hopefully it will also inspire others to come up with alternative ways to promote cars sales.
Did we not have a large thread re the kit show future or something similar?
Thank you for the kind words everyone.
