Haven't posted for a while, but check in every day.
All seems well in Ultima Land..... GTW is back together and looking great..... Stig has finally taken the plunge and bought another Ultima.
Me... mine is now down at the track in China, moved it there a week or so ago, going to do some track days with it. Fuel cells arrived Friday, after a mates Caterham caught on fire in a race a couple of months back Ive decided its worth every cent to fit fuel cells. At the same time Im fitting a full alloy bulkhead and plumbed in fire system.

The Historic car is in OZ, going down in a couple of weeks to do the Winton event. Im currently on the prowl for a second historic race car. Im thinking a De Tomaso could be fun, it was certainly one of the childhood dream cars that led me to an Ultima!
The 356 is being sent to the USA, Im too busy with work so Im sending it to Jeff Schwartz and he’s going to finish it for me.
The fuel cells for the Ultima arrived. Very nice units from Fuel Safe (following a recommendation on here), built in Bosch pumps on each side so no need for an external swirl pot and low pressure pump anymore.
Speak to Jack, he’s very helpful. They have all the drawings etc.

The other one id like is the Verskanda, there was another one that was similar that competed around the same time cant remember what it was though. there is a thread on performace forums regarding fastes car in Australia that mentiones it.
PS - Australian Hillcimb champs are at Bathurst this year, think its in november......
there are at last cound 3 carbon tubed V8 engined single seaters being preped to run, one with a Judd EV07 engine and the other 2 with 2.6l hayabusa based engines. should make for an interesting weekend.
