Hi all

Ive just fitted a set of new wheels and yoko AO48s to my MK Indy R for track use. The car is road legal too and I have another set of wheels with toyo t1rs on. These are my first semi slick tyres. I have soft compound on the front and medium to the rear.

Question is what's the best way to 'bed' the tyres in prior to my next track day and also how should I bed them n at the first track day please?

Cheers

Jubal

I never bothered. As long as you have some mechanical sympathy the average session is a good heat cycle anyway.

As above, not to worry really, just take it easy on the first session of laps to get some texture and a heat cycle into the tyre.
