Hey guys just a couple questions!

Pin one on the ecu I have found is stepper motor one!!?!! Where is that on engine as I have a broken connection to it!

Also just to double check the oil pressure switch should be a short to block with no pressure then open circuit when the pressure is there?!?

There is no stepper motor fitted. The wires terminate in the harness around about where the split loom for injectors and T Pots leaves the bulkhead and goes across the top of the engine. The ends are often not insulated properly thus shorting out and toasting the stepper drive components on the ECU board.

Thanks for your answer mike, The problem i have is i soldiered new connection blocks in to connect the engine harness to the ecu as i had a lot of bad connections so thought it would be easier to put new connectors on and put the join in the footwell to stop water ingress.
I noticed today that i had a wire coming from the Ecu that wasnt connected to anything but i havent got a clue where to start as the new connector blocks have a few spare wires so not sure which one it has brocken off of. Hope this makes sence.
If i was looking to do a continuity test from somewhere in the engine bay wiring loom to what would have connected to pin one to figure which wire i need to join it back upto.

Really hope this makes sence lol.
