Nice initiative for road biking in France this summer

The local authorities will be closing various col's around the Alps this summer and only allowing road bikes to access them on those specific days:

Yes, but these aren't events, they are simply closing the road so that road bikers can ride at their leisure away from any cars.

Will be staying in Bourg d'oiason in July. Reckon we will be riding Col de la Croix de Fer on Wednesday the 10th then! Rode it a couple of years back and it wasn't busy with traffic, but this could be fun if there's a lot of cyclists.
