It seems TomTom made some changes to the newest models:

I have an "old" PDA and can copy the ITN files from Longers into a directory called ITN, see picture.
Maybe you can just put your SD card in a card-reader and try to copy them.

If everything fails, we have to carry breadcrumbs ;-)

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can upload routes like the ones longers has provided to the tomtom one xl?

I had a brief look last year and couldn't fathom it but hoping with a little earlier planning it would be good to sort it.

Cheers

Max

My system is a start 20, what is PDA, ITN file, directory, SD card ? I think I might be following someone with the directions.

Please don't try to follow me, I'm completely lost already!
Computers & myself are not compatible, I don't even understand
their language.
I like the idea of breadcrumbs, Han, but isn't there a risk they
might get eaten by the birds?
Does anyone know the name & address of the Dunquerque hotel?
If I had that info, there's a slim chance I could find it.
Failing that, I'll just turn my engine off and listen out for TVR Sounds.
Or use the Force.........ears

The details for all of the destinations such as hotels, circuits, restaurants, etc are in the Word document I sent you

I am so deeply indebted to you already for everything you've done for all of us Longers, I can't thank you enough.
But the fact remains that you are lumbered with a hard core of Luddites who haven't a clue when it comes to computers..
I tried to download the first bit of your email, but my phone said it didn't have enough memory. After that there's lots of paperclips and stuff which are full of allsorts of usefulness for peeps in the know.
All I need to know is ...who is the slowest Jedi I can follow?

I'm sure I heard a bg groan then ....rolleyesbut this trip is important to me, It's no.3 on my bucket list. I'm sure the Force will help us in our quest.

Cheers Ian - seen the instructions now and very straightforward. Only minor set back is that I'd forgotten I have only uk and Ireland maps - doh!!!

So now to buy or not to buy Europe maps.

Hmmmm
