Sorry, it was "Do the hamsters need feeding" looks like a junior tech has taken the hump over comments about the site.

It doesn't need an active thread. It just needs a locked sticky thread explaining there are some ongoing issues, then keeping us up to date with how they're being solved. Then everyone has a central source of information and the techies don't need to waste time dealing with irate people about why their thread was locked... smile

It's been asked for lots of times but for some unfathomable reason hasn't been done.

Because the techies don't have a clue what's wrong and even less of a clue on what to do to fix it. If they did then they'd be telling us what the problem was, what they were doing to fix it and when it would be fixed idea. Instead we just get the same old "we are looking into it", "we are working on it" record played over and over again when in reality neither of those things are happening, otherwise we wouldn't be here 1 month later still with a borked site.
