Warranty repair while abroad?

Hi all
I recently (April) bought a 159 brand new and exported it to Germany 2 weeks later.
Since then, the passenger seat has started to come apart (sports cloth)
I called Alfa UK who told me to take it to a German dealership, who have agreed that it is a warranty claim and are happy to do the work if I get Alfa UK to approve it?
My question is, isn't there a department at Alfa who can liaise between Alfa UK and Alfa DE and approve the work? I dont speak a word of German which really doesn't help!!
