I have 2 sump plugs on my 4.2 Cerbera and stupidly enough i don't remember which plug goes where :-(

One has a magnetic pin on it and i am worried that if i put it in the wrong spot that it will hit the crank.

Anyone able to tell me which one goes where?

Don't have a 4.2 but IMHO I would think that the magnetic pin would go in the Oil Sump Hole. On my 4.5 the Sump Plug is in the corner of the Sump at the back, passenger side and therefore would be well out of reach of the crank throws.

There are two plugs on the deiver's side of theGearbox for filler and drain.

( I do believe I read some time ago Gazzab ??that the 4.2 did have two Engine Sump Plugs though scratchchin )

mine has two sump plugs it does,nt matter which one goes in where they wont hit the crank as there is a baffle plate between them and the crank ,it has two plugs as there is a pipe cast into the sump making a need to drain eather side of it ,mine has magnets on both maybe you lost one at some point HTH
