Ford GT style rear light clusters

Does anyone have anidea where could get rear light clusters like those found on a Ford GT;

CBS and SVS seem to have similar-ish LED clusters but they're smaller and not quite right.
The simple answer is Ford. Unfortunately they’re a be-spoke light, designed by Ford for the GT. If you’re trying to find an exact match for these, I’m afraid you won’t find them. Because of the low volume of this car, it’s not in a company’s financial interest or development time to make a Non-OEM copy. There just isn’t a market for it, GT owners will just “shop” at ford.

If you were after Citroën Saxo lights, then not a problem, there are possibly millions of them, so makes financial sense to make after-market lights.
Sorry if this is not much help, good luck with your search; It would be interesting to see what Ford actually charge for a pair of GT rear lights?

They don't have to be exact - I was hoping there was something similar in the parts market somewhere. All of the multi-function, concentric circle ones seem to be much smaller. I suspect the genuine Ford ones cost an eye wateringly large amount of money.
Ok, not an exact match, just the GT “look”, there are a few on the market, but I think the biggest diameter round lights are 140mm.I don’t know SVS, but have you tried SVC? They do a mix ‘n’ match, so you may be able to do the red outer ring, with clear centre, but not at the size of the GT I’m afraid. They’re a lot smaller at 112mm diameter and the ratio isn’t right. There’s a bulls eye one, but I don’t think that has the modern look you’re after. Try Lotus Elise, but then again they’re not cheap!

Sort of "ish"
And catseye version

Might help if we knew required size and application. The distinguishing feature of the GT lights is that they're set into that inclined surface so they're sort of parallelogram in section (if you see what I mean) - is that relevant?
If not... Lotus units not much bigger than generic stuff and not cheap, and doubtless Ferrari even more so (is that what the A-M V12 Zagato uses?) Suspect Alfa MiTo units not 'flat' which would limit their use elsewhere.
Do they have to be truly circular? If not, what about C3,4,5,6 Corvette? Haven't C5 & 6 been officially imported to UK? (so lights might be compliant)
Wildcard suggestion: Daewoo Matiz

..might actually be too big

They're for my kit car;http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
The rear is inclined, not dissimilar to the GT40. I'll take a pic from the back when I get chance.

If reasonably faithful to GTO, should be more upright than GT for these purposes treated as vertical. Only others I can think of are these modular Hella bullseyes - can be used in isolation or together depending on specific functions required; iirc OD of annular unit in same ~150mm range as most others

Why not make your own! Will explain how when im sat at a computer tomorrow and post a few links! Did you get some lupo lights by the way?
Yes I went for Lupo lights, not fitted yet but they're going to look good I think. Interested in the suggestion of making my own - the LED's will be easy enough I suppose but what about the surrounds? Ok first make/build yourself.....

Then buy......

Then make up some bucks the size you need and form your lens covers from the Prismatic diffuser sheet.
Then Buy...

Mask up your lenses and spray away until the desired redness is met.
Then make up some bulb/led housings ether by using the vac former again and making a buck or make some out of nylon bar or by modifying some spotlamps torch etc.
Sounds a touch Heath Robinson but I'm sure you can get the idea!

Is that street legal? Can't believe it'd pass IVA (appreciate might not be relevant here) without an E mark somewhere. Does it 'fall through the cracks' in terms of MOT, i.e. what are pass criteria for lighting? http://toyshoots.com/diy-vacuum-former-part-1

I think the MOT should, technically, check they're E marked. I'm sure 99% of MOT testers wouldn't bother as long as they looked fit for purpose. Would be totally buggered if I got pulled over for one of those roadside VOSA inspections that seem increasingly common though. I think I'll stick to manufactured ones.
Yes, without the “E” markings, you’ll fail the IVA for sure. If you do a poor job on the “DIY” lights, and they look “home-made” it’ll draw attention at MOT’s and Roadside checks. Go with a manufactured, “E” marked unit, and fit it correctly, following IVA rules; it’s the only way really.
