Heard it all to day from a customer.
Hi, you serviced my car last week and you changed the valve caps from the black ones I had to dark grey ones. I would like black ones again.
OK, we won't have swapped them but we'll get some black ones from the tyre bay for you (only done to appease the mentalist).
Job done you would think but no the bat s
t crazy spacktarded bint was back after 10 minutes complaining that one of the replacement valve caps we had supplied was different! 3 had circles on and one was a triangle on the end of the valve cover.
JESUS f
kING TITTY CHRIST get a life or just sod off and get hit by a bus. The world does not require your presence anymore.
I would quite like my job if wasnt for customers. I even had one say we swapped her radio to a Nissan one and now she wasnt getting the test match.
Point 1)
It was a sodding Nissan Micra K11 what do think the radio would be Ford?
Point 2)
There was not a tossing b
d test match on.

I mean I can understnad the ladies may not want to get into the finer points of crank balancing or supercharger induction pulleys, but come on!

Caring men should be more helpful.
Although, I remember phoning my dad just after I'd passed my test to tell him I had a puncture.
'Well, fix it' he said, and hung up on me.
Yes public can be a pain in the ass. Just been working on a porsche 997 cab. When the customer came to pick the car up he blamed me for putting a small dent in the rear quarter. Lucky for me he had emailed me some pics of the car and the dent was clearly showen on the pics. Public just seem to try it on all the time. Gets to the stage where you have to check every thing before you start working and put the prices up to cover any problems.

This makes so much sense, although you need to change the odd word and it fits into every conceivable excuse any blonde would need."My teeth are dirty because I wear contact lenses"

It's a keeper, thanks.

Something similar happened to me. Was waiting behind some woman at the air machine and watching her trying to inflate a flat tyre. After waiting 5 mins and getting bored, I decided to try and explain to her that she was going to have to put the spare on, as the tyre she was trying to inflate obviously wasn't going to keep its air.I mean I can understand the ladies may not want to get into the finer points of crank balancing or supercharger induction pulleys, but come on!
She had no idea that the round big thing that sticks out on the tailgate of her RAV4 was her spare tyre. She was genuinely amazed that inside was another wheel. After unclipping all the clips and taking off the cover, low and behold there was a totally bald spare tyre. Told her that it was illegal and advised her to call her breakdown cover as by that point I had lost the will to live.

"Is it flat at the top or the bottom Madame?"
"At the bottom"

Heard a story a few years ago about a garage who serviced a companies few cars,
the bills that came in were paid by the accounts dept. no questions asked.
One day a new bloke(car savvy) did question one of the items which had been charged for on every visit of the cars for years.
Single use wheel nuts. nobody new any different at only £6 a set.

She is possibly just dealing with a touch of OCD.
Different valve caps would annoy me.
Incidentally, I took one of my cars in for a service a couple years ago at a local garage.
The wheels had alloy valve caps when it went in and lovely black plastic ones when it was returned.
That garage has never again had my business.

Once had a lady who complained that the hole where you filled the engine with oil was too small. Eventually worked out that she tried to top up the oil through the dipstick guide.
Then there was the customer last week who complained that we didn't have an old-school parts counter hidden in the back of the dealership and that he had to be served in the showroom at a desk with coffee and biscuits...unbelievable.
Allot of the flak directed at dealers on forums is usually unjustified. If there wasn't such a risk of dismissal I reckon you'd hear just as many bad stories from the other side!

I'm complaining to you about that, too, as of now.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
