How long to swap a personal plate over?

Picked up my new (to me) car last weekend (29 April). Dealer kept both V5's to send off to DVLA to transfer plate from my p/x to my current car.

Just wondering how long that typically took? He wouldn't have sent the stuff off till the Monday last week so not fretting about it, just wondering about getting plates made up etc.

Anyone transferred a plate recently able to give me an idea?

7-10 days for the letter of authorisation to display the new registration and the V5c will follow a couple of weeks later.
