Yeah I can see why the deal would stink especially when the new owner has a passion for cars & billions to spend and has stated that he wants to INVEST in the company!
Sorry but a forward thinker + plenty of money to put things right = a positive to me.
It might not be british owned (even though he went to school here and lives here) but its still built in britain which is the main thing.
So dry your eyes and deal with it like big boys me thinks!

Whatever drugs you're taking they're not working,as you obviously have been hearing voices and are suffering from persistent delusions and other first rank symptoms.

If you take the sportsmen and women way of working out whether someone is British then it's possible you could still think it's a British owned company!

FFS get a grip you load of big gurls. It's probably the only company you buy from where you actually know who owns the equity. You probably don't give a sh1t about anything else - know what your bank/pension invests in? Know which political party your employer supports (and unless they're a small company, they will because they need to lobby parliament)?
If you like what they make, support them with your cash, if you don't then take it somewhere else. Or you could wait and see how it pans out before making boorish and repetitive proclamations that just might turn out to be intensely embarrassing to you the future (and which plenty of people will be delighted to remind you of
).
*Nb, my Zanussi washer dryer is bloody fantastic, has been going for years, has moved house 4 times and still cuts the mustard.
