Why would anyone do this to a Griff?

What's with the centre console? Funny little hatch...
To adjust the alarm sensitivity without taking the whale tail out or to stash the drugs?I like the exterior colour but no fan of the Lexus lights nor the interior.
Lights easy enough to swap over but that interior just does not match the exterior at all - in fact it would struggle to match any exterior!

Yeah, it still hurts my eyes!
Back on topic though, the combo on the Griff is a little bit of a mismatch for my liking. At least you can throw the shirt away....not so easy on the car... Each to their own though, wouldn't it be boring if we all liked the same
It's not the colour scheme though it's the quality of the retrim. I've never seen anything so appalling. Back on topic though, the combo on the Griff is a little bit of a mismatch for my liking. The stiching is weaving all over the place, the dash doesn't fit, the carpet is frayed and not fitting and the black vinyl appears glued. And if that was all done by the owner the seats are the worst bit. Whoever retrimmed those should not have been paid. Terrible cut and fit. You can see all the ridges and poor workmanship. It's just depressing.
The outside seems fine if that's your bag but I've never seen work so bad on an interior.

Totally agree. Such a shame on a low mileage pre-cat too. The finish is very whiffy. I wonder if it was just a DIY job. I am following your 2-door RR project - I take it you wont be asking for the trimmer details for yours...

(O/T: great project to follow, btw, always liked those 2-doors! I wanted a CSK)
