BBWF12 Webcam

Right, Andy's post about potentially (but let's hope not) missing the Fest reminded me of an idea from last year (and maybe the year before) which is to set up a BBWF webcam firstly in the car park during the day and then in the evening do (but turned off at a discreet hour eh Zig...)

This will allow Andy, our Antipodean friends, those from the colonies and those in continent (sic) to attend the fest at least remotely. They can even join in the raffles via paypal and win prizes!!

It will also be useful for those who turn up on spec to check that it isn't raining (and if it is we will put up a picture from last year, no the year before... ;^)

I will be running around like a blue arsed fly most likely so have no time to set this up. So can some kind soul sort this out? I'm thinking we can leech off the Hotel WiFi. You'll need to sort out a service provider (skype maybe?) ideally with some conferencing facility so a few people can be seen too at the BBWF end, and do a test a couple of weeks before (from home). I'm sure we can lock the computer to the marquee for security.

Let me know if you can help, or let me know if you would like to connect remotely so we can do the test and email out the login details on the day.

Well I had a good day with the pyscho today and stood for a lot longer than before, I even did a 1/4 step, so I hope I am making very slow progress!

Oh Yes, Great idea AQ, Skype`s the go, Im already set up this end if you need to test
well done on your 1/4 step Andy it will be 1/4 mile before you know it...
