Anyone had the pleasure of driving one of these machines? I'm hiring a car to drive to Download Festival from Aberdeen and had the choice between that or the smaller "Spark". 2 years ago I got a 1.2 85PS Micra which was pretty forgetful to drive, but loved the abuse and still did 50MPG plus overall

Pleasure of any sort is not a word I would associate with a Chevrolet Aveo.

This was my line of thinking. Will it manage the 800 mile round trip ;-)

Worked for a GM dealer who had Chevrolet tucked round the back and they are awful. If it's an Enterprise car it's probably a 1.4. It'll be reliable for the trip, but hard pushed to think of anything else in it's favour.

I have only driven a Spark once, probably much better on fuel and should be cheaper to rent.

Isnt the new one supposed to be ok?
