Having hit the big 40 I was looking at my car history and think its probbaly not great. I know others on here change their cars like their underpants but thats not for me, buy something I like and keep it for a long while.

Not sure I have done this before, been on Pistonheads for a while so might have done but getting old and senile and memory not what it used to be, I blame that on too many Dirty Dicks meets. Anyway my car history in chronological order .

Austin A30

Vauxhall Chevette

Ford Escort Mk3
No pictures of the only front wheel drive car I have owned?????
Ford Cortina Mk1 custom 1500GT pre-crossflow

Fordt Cortina Mk1 for spares

Ford Cortinal Mk1 1600cc crossflow

BMW 316 1800cc

TVR S1

BMW 325i touring

Lotus Elise S2 111S

Having just written that and added the pictures I think I have done this before. Im putting it down to narcissistic tendancies and the alcohol, but mainly the alcohol drink. It is catharsis, not sure that the right word but it felt good paperbag

Sadly went to graveyard. I could not afford the replacement wings that had rusted through frown Would love another but with a modern twin-cam to keep the spirit of the Lotus version.

I still have the Bimmer, taking me on holiday this year. Might make another Le Mans trip in it, great for chucking things in the back, wow 2007 was my last trip.
