Am I the only one that noticed there is a GP in less than 4 days time ? I thought the Mods started these, or . . . . where is Saab bloke ?

Anyhow, any change to the established order ? is there an established order ? will the fuglyfying of the Macca help ? or hinder ?

Will the Spanish one get a Fezza to give him a chance of having results not only attributable to him ?¿

Will DRS give us a non-Montmeloesque / non-snooze-fest (didn't help much last year if I remember)

Mclaren have got a new high nose for the weekend. Apparently tested for the last few hours at Mugello and it was improvement enough so have it introduced for this weekend. Sounds like a huge upgrade as it won't just be a new nose.

Should be interesting !

Terribly sorry old chap. I've been a bit busy in the last week or so learning how to set up a company and how to copyright certain things etc. Challenging stuff for a non-paperwork bod such as myself.

Anyway, Button, Webber, Hamilton, Micky S in the race with a Rosberg pole.

Ohh dear, this is not what Maranello have spent so much time money and effort to hear. Go show em Alonso. Write off Ferrari not.

I have high hopes of Mclaren managing to unleash a bit more of their cars potential, but unfortunately I dont hold out too much hope of an exciting spectacle.

What they should do is scrub this (and any other) bore-fest circuits off the calendar, and instead hold 2 races at tracks as voted by the teams/drivers.

The only stipulation will be that the selected track will then be raced in the opposite direction yikes

Can you imagine watching an F1 car hurtle DOWN Eau Rouge!!!!!!!! bounce

And back in the real world.

Can't agree with that. Barcelona is not a track that favours straight line cars. Mercedes have admitted they don't have good high speed corner performance.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say Red Bull and Ferrari to do well in quali and the race, with McLaren not far behind, then Renault, then Mercedes.

I live up the road from Montmelo and look forward to seeing the race, on television....

A good example of a track where it is better to watch on TV than go there in person.

I am also a mere 75clicks or so away, but will be in Helsinki this weekend. . . . & someone forgot to say "The Boeings yours, feel free to nip down to Girona & jump in the heli to make it in time for the start of the race"

I always enjoyed GP's watched from the Tribune at the 1st corner, although, there was never the level of "action" you expected at that corner.

Maybe, no race next year (ever?) here again, if I was home I might be tempted to buy a Gen Admission tkt just for that reason if no other.

Mercedes may be in with a shout this weekend, given the relative prevailing coolness in Europe at the moment. 21 degrees on Sunday, call it 27-30 track?

First steps to getting double DRS on the car you think?

From a briefing I read, the high nose is to be run in FP1 on Friday in comparison with the low nose, then a decision will be made on the race weekend package. But also the nose may switch depending on the needs of the circuits.
