Any recommended websites for european roads?
Discussion
Is there any website anyone can recommend that states the various speed laws etc with a 9 seater for roads in europe?
we're planning to go over on the jubilee weekend
Calais - luxumbourg - zurich - milan
and then most likely the same on the way back. Avoiding france as much as possible.
We're looking to take a 9 seater etc and what are the various speed limits in place in europe??? Are there any other permits etc you require to purchase for switzerland?
We're planning to stay in Zurich and Milan and a visit to Monza
Whats parking like in Milan for a saturday night and sunday night?
Finally apart from the recommendations over the alps on the various websites - are there any other roads to recommend?

Of course the main reason We're doing this is to get the most of the alps
So we're planning to go through Andermatt on the way down through Como and onto Milan - This route will be open end of may i would assume?
Can anyone advise an alternative route to take on the way back? is it worth going through the tunnel of mont blanc?

Thanks for that website Gman! greatly appriciated
Yeah we're getting a mway pass sorted out though i dont think we're going to be hitting the motorways much but i'd rather be safe than sorry!
I did have a look at the wiki - which is where i got the route from initially but of course with the snow we're having a look at alternative means.
I just thought it would be good to get advice from someone who's done it - a personal recommendation always goes much further than a review online

Sounds like an old record but head down thru Luxembourg, get fuel cheap there and thru to Baden Baden drive the B500 thru the Black Forest south to Zurich, plenty of German Gausthaus do B&B for approx 40 euro
Pension William is a Brit run place near Baden Baden and just about a days drive from the channel, Andersmatt is the centre of the alps and worth heading to thru Interlaken, if teh Furka,Grimsel are open happy days else its the tunnel for you
StuR has just done the route ...

I used a biking website to plan some of the roads on my Spanish trip. Think it was:

Ok after much planning and micro-management its come down to this
Any opinions would be most welcome
From Accrington to Zurich...

From Zurich to Milan...

From there i'm not sure. I want to go past aosta and Martigny probably towards auxerre so on our drive home we can have a drive through paris.
