Hi,

This is a speculative thread to work out may entertain using Carbon Fibre components for their T350, Tamora or Sagaris. Do you have any already?

Can you let me know what components you feel would be worth having. I'm not talking about body panels, just smaller components.

I'm thinking the Pedal Plate might be a starting point for me to make in Carbon Fibre and if anyone else is interested I could do more a few more. It's just a thought at the moment, but figured I would see what you guys thought.

Thanks,

Steve

I would like a Tamora rear splitter and roof panel.

I go along with Getsis Rear diffusor and if fit can be managed the roof panel-these items would actually save a few kilos weight.
Footplate and instrument binnacle surround already available from Jason-see Str8six website. Have them on my car and they look quite nice.

Fit of the roof panel is not an issue. We have a carbon roof on my wife's Tamora. smile

The reason I am asking is that my friend owns a Carbon Company (specialising in Motorcycle components) and is going to do the Pedal Plate for me in Carbon Fibre and if anyone else is interested we might be able to do more, and other components.... It's just a thought at the moment, but figured I would see what you guys thought.

Thanks,

If he can do complete airboxes for less than, say, £750 then I have a feeling he could sell quite a few...
I also agree with the other poster that seat backs would be nice.

I would love a set of CF wing mirrors like this:

A T350 rear diffuser would be good.

Also a pair of coil covers for this would be nice:

Something like this:

I have C/F on the Sagaris (pics and details to follow in a few weeks), but I'd consider the rear diffuser and spoiler on the Tam, maybe the bonnet as well.

Does the bonnet complete the Halfords look? I agree small bits looks good, but whole panels look naff IMO (each to their own and all that)

biggrin No, body coloured, and now a one-piece like the Sagaris 3. I despise the 'taxi' look of plain c/f - it's just not for me.

It's not cheap, which is kinda where I am coming from...
Mates rates will always be cheaper. I don't see these items priced too high really. The airbox isn't cheap for sure, but it is a very tight fit in there and needs designing to reasonably good tolerances. The pedalbox cover is £160 + VAT. What do you think your friend can knock them out for? Considering this is a business and the number of customers will never exceed 500? Then add in a margin for your mate to feed his family and pay his electricity bill, and a dealer margin...

Still, the more people making stuff for our cars the better :-)

Seat backs and air box would be good but as has been said they would have to be at the right price.
