Can't seem to find anything below £370 return, going from either Bristol (preferred choice) or any London airport. Anyone found any cheaper carriers? Thanks for any tips.

Not a lot about, think we paid the same last year pretty much.

Monarch were the cheapest for us - I'm guessing that's who you got?

They seem to be the cheapest, but not by much, the departure times of course are about as hopeless as charters can get tongue out just wondering if there's any possibility of cheaper tickets becoming available nearer the time. Suppose not, realistically, but we've been told that this does happen.

I don't think I've ever known prices to go down nearer the time, quite the opposite. Having said that we are not ones for booking a holiday in advance, last year (to Dalaman) was the furthest out we'd booked in years - near as dammit a full 3 weeks.

Unlike Alpharooms.com - run don't walk & avoid like the plague etc springs to mind (issues at the moment GRRRRR)

Travel Republic are maybe worth a look too (wish I'd used them this time.....)

Have a look at icelolly etc and see what the absolute cheapest package holidays are. Cheapest look around £270, which is still a few quid off.

We were talking to some people on trips who have holiday homes out there and they said that often it was cheaper to book the cheapest package then flights alone. They then simply don't select transfers and just don't show up to the hotel.
