996 GT3 mk1 rear tire sizes?

I have 11x18 et 56 wheels as my rears. Currently there are 285/30 tires fitted which I am replacing soon. Has anyone fitted 305's without rubbing in there? 295's should fit for sure? My rear camber is set 2.4 negative.

I know we have some Mantheyed cars here with similar wheels so please speak up!

i managed to squeaze 315/30/18 michelins on 11x18 bbs e88 rear rims fitted to my 6.1 gt3 with no rubbing issues..

I hear you.. but what was the ET of those wheels? My offset and width moves the wheel outwards quite a lot compared to stock. That makes the ET value critical here.

996 GT3 MK2 size is 295/30/18 any way.

keepitlits wheels are ET59 on the rear.

Thanks for your comments. If ET 59 and 315 is doable then ET 56 and 305 should also fit. Depending of the tire brand of course. Some tires are wider than the others even if the nominal size is same.

Anyway it will be a close fit.. and if it rubs it's money down the drain.

Stick to standard 295`s and use 5-7mm Porsche shims and the 1st stage longer bolts?
