Free Axle Stands & 1.5 Tonne jack

Hi All,

A friend of mine is moving house so is having a good de-junk at the moment. He found some axle stands and a 1.5 tonne trolley jack which he now has no use for and asked if I knew of anybody that wanted them before he took them to the dump. I would have had them myself but on the last count I already had 8 axle stands a couple of jacks.

They're free to any SASer who wants them but you would have to collect them from Hayes (West London).

I would have had them but it would probably cost the same amount in juice to get there and back to buy them

Hmm. I've been after a decent jack for ages, but haven't had anywhere to put it. I'm sure the inlaws wouldn't mind me cluttering up their garage with some extra stuff...

Would be very handy as I've been meaning to sort the brakes out for the last few weeks and begrudge taking it to a dealer when I have the discs and pads in the garage anyway..

Craig, you're more than welcome to them but I've no idea what sort of condition the jack is in. But I suppose you can't grumble if they're free.

Although they would come in very handy at the moment, given my current living situation, I think it would be better that someone else that has space makes use of them.

BlackCup, feel free to enquire further. Unfortunately, I just don't have the storage space or rights to use said (limited) space at the moment.

Thanks mate fingers crossed they're still around, never had either and need to buy a little runaround and would like to have a stab at maintaining it myself!
