If Celica discontined, will 1.8 still be around ?

I saw some news that Toyota will stop making the Celica in 2006, is the 1.8L made for any other car ?
Will the engine still be around ?
Will Lotus then come out with a V6 Elise replacement ?

It is basically the same unit accross a number of Toyota models, e.g. the MR2. I cannot see that engine supply will be a problem for quite some time.

As for a V6 Lotus? Anyone's guess, but I can't see it for a couple of years.
