I know that there are some racing drivers here who have more skillz than I do and I cannot spell tretcherous or diabollocle so just a heads up . . . .

Been driving to Heathrow today and its raining lions and hyenas - so much standing water in places you just wouldnt expect it PLUS many many tts on the road, it beggars belief.

Just be warned!!

IIRC Khush has RE050's on his Spyder and, again IIRC, Michelins are meant to be much better in the wet?

Though the underlying sentiment is correct - in deep water slow down or you will aquaplane, spin, and crash.

Can you tell me what my tyres are please Actus Reus? I need to order some new ones and it will save me popping out in the rain to look myself.

Thanks wink

You have re-moulds from a Korean manufacturer I can't spell. And your IMS is about to go.

ETA - Khush had a thread on tyres a few weeks ago.

And I'm banging his wife when he's at work, and took the Spyder out for a quick blast this morning and almost binned it when I hit a big puddle.

Well on another PH thread Khushy is currently being accused of being Sambaman posting from his cell so I guess one of us ought to take care of his wife... wink

Not sure about that Rude Dog,

I read it as he can sometimes come across with similar tones to how Sambaman did. It was the misunderstanding of other posters that lead to Kushy being accused of Sambaman from behind bars.

Edited by Flat6er on Friday 11th May 12:54 because like a flid I had misquoted Rob Kellock, Sorry Rob.

I think Rob was talking about this thread (aquaplaning based content) vs. the other thread (which I've not read but will be hunting for once back from seeing my 10am client!).

28 pages in and I'm starting to give up the will to live - seems Scooby owners have a rather lower taste-threshold than I do.

You did better than me. I got about 5 pages in and then thought I'd start at the end and go backwards through the thread. Another 5 pages and I've closed the browser.

Bloody Scooby Chavs...
