Although I was able to clean up and re-use the outer thicker washers, one side of my wedge ('82 2.8) now has NO inner washers at all. They just fell to bits. Looking at it I figured the powder coating and nice new nylon would probably do OK....
Incidentally I discovered the outer washers on mine were fouling the chassis one one side too - If you look you can see they have a section cut off to flatten them, I cut a little bit more off. I don't get that odd 'clunk' anymore, so it's worth checking.

You could try Dan taylor TVR (Maidstone) for parts, Poly bushes are ok if you intend tracking your car..The original rubber compound will out lasted any poly bush..If its just washers you are after you could try these guys..Cheers..Ziga

Couln't even find the capri ones, thse days use poly ones from RT or the like, they are better than the spongy Ford ones. But the difficult part is finding the big washers that come with them especially the thin brass ones.
Brass? I've renewed mine twice (both cars), don't recall any of them being made of brass.I have a brand new set of the doughnuts, got them from South Wales Propshafts if I remember right.
