Help. New to PH and new to TVR ownership. Just bought a 4.3 and it has some issues. Does anyone know how to get replacement keys to lock/unlock the doors. My lock is on the rear wing but the ignition key does not fit either door it was probably lost sometime ago and never replaced.

The early door locks are, I believe, Vauxhall Tigra/Calibra boot locks, and the Ignition/key is certainly Vauxhall so if nothing matches I'd be looking at a Vauxhall scrapper for a replacement complete set. wink

I agree with raceboys comments, I think thats where the items originally came from.

I had similar issue in that a muppet garage lost my keys and fob, nightmare and a long story......maybe over a beer someday.

Anyway, this company http://www.duplicut.co.uk/ in Sutton Coldfield were brilliant.

I took off the ignition barrel and gave it to them, they then made a key (and a couple of spares) to fit the barrel which ensured it also fitted the door locks.
SORTED and all in for less than £50 IIRC

Removal is easy, IIRC, remove 2 screws holding the steering column cover. Remove the 2 screws holding the barrel to the column, unclip thye electrical plug connector and there it is, the barrel all ready to be handed over.
