No excuses this time, don't even need your passport

http://www.ilkleymotorclub.org.uk/king/

I'll be looking to improve on the stunning last-in-class performance I put in at my previous event. I said this was fun, I never claimed to be any good at it hehe

Well, as it's within visible distance from work I better enter this.

No entry form on the website though...?

I'd be really tempted if it weren't the same day as Oulton BTCC

How often are these put on?

Here you go. The links are along the top but not very obvious.

They're pretty regular in Lancs (see http://anwcc.org/) but not in Yorkshire

Thanks for the Heads Up Moribund

I did see it in the last IDMC newsletter

It would be rude not to do this as I am already a member of IDMC
(A great club to join if you are thinking of doing this or any other motorsport events)

Just to decide what is best to do it in
(basically non or the vehicles available to me are really suitable - but that never stops the FUN!!!)

Cheers
Trickie

This looks like good fun! Been meaning to join IDMC for a while and see what it's all about, now could be the perfect oppurtunity....

Hi Dave

How are you doing?

Are you coming to this event - it would be good to catch up

Have you still got that Fiat thing?
If so let me know as I have a few events you might be interested in

Cheers

I'm a member of IDMC too, no excuses for not doing this. I'm also hoping to take delivery of a small, nimble Italian number just in time... smile

Competed in Rotating Ferrets event in Huddersfield tonight, good venue and perfect weather for it!

Very enjoyable evening. It was the first one they've ever put on but they did a good job and it was well attended.

Good to meet you again Dave, enjoyed following the 'scrote on the way out.

Yeah, feel like a bit of a pot hunter now being the only person with a competition type car there but enjoyed myself throwing Phoenix about. Daren't check the tyres before I set off.

Don't worry Dave, I think just by completing the course in the right direction and right order was enough to win given how some of us were doing hehe

There's a vid of one of your runs on YouTube already: http://youtu.be/f6TFIaXiF8k

And one of mine too: http://youtu.be/_2bEI0Q-UP4

Unfortunately I managed a reverse in one place or another on each of the 3 runs. You'd think I'd know my own turning circle by now....

Trouble with Autosolo's is the 'solo' bit, I need someone to tell me where to go or I get lost frown

Can't see any restriction on Tyres on the regs for the Rotating Ferrets event, IDMC don't allow M&S type Tyres which is tricky for me as it's all I have for my 'appropriate' Car
