Car is going well, but I think I am going to put it into Hartech and get it on their maintenance plan.

But I was just wondering if anyone had any HUGE bills to get it accepted and what the "usual" faults are? Cars got a FSH and new discs etc, and has recently had new suspension parts and the rest checked, so I dont think there will be any surprises there.

I am confident in the car, I just like the security and budgeting that the plan allows.

Anyone with some experience?

'98 C2M with 65K miles cost £1.5K all in (heat shields, drop links, exhaust gaskets etc). '98 C2M Cab with 48K miles cost £2.5K all in (needed new clutch, and radiator, coils etc). They will write out certain things from the warranty eg clutch and rads if you don't take their advice to have them replaced. I did what they recommended and I'm fully covered.

They have hardly cost me anything since I've been on it (4 years in all with 2 cars). They will listen to your expectations, but it is sensible to take their advice on what needs doing. It is a bit of good will on your part for good will on theirs. I have been delighted.

On their plan following my engine rebuild and i think its a great way to run the car.
the monthly payment means the cost is spread over the year and their advice is second to none.
there has got to be loads of jobs where the labour charge is many times the replacement part, being on the scheme takes away that labour cost.

I have nothing but high praise for Hartech.

Didn't take on their plan when I had my 968CS serviced there, only because of distance from them if it needed warranty work.

I have little time for most, but truly believe Hartech are one of the best Porsche Indies out there from my past experience, and wouldn't hesitate tp reccomend them from my experience with them.
