Parking Stanstead A/P
Discussion
Well for a start it's Stansted, Stanstead is elsewhere!
I've always used pre-booked medium stay & got the bus in. Short stay at Standted is a BIG flat car park & if you end up at the end it is a long walk, especially if it is raining, whereas the medium stay car parks are a short walk to the bus stop. The long stay car park is miles away & I've been let down in the past waiting for buses.

Depends on how long you are going for. Generally, I use the mid-term car park. Not hugely more than long term and 5 mins from the terminal (you could walk if you really wanted to!!)
As above, long term is quite a distance from the terminal and depending on what Zone you're in and time of day, it can take 40 mins or more to get to the terminal.
The SAS Raddision do a stay and leave your car deal. This is right next door to the terminal and there a plenty of pub & B&B type places nearby where if you stay and eat the hight before you travel, you can leave your car there and they'll run you to the airport.

Have used these chaps for a number of years, never had a problem: http://www.meteormeetandgreet.com/
Life's too short to be faffing about waiting for a transfer bus, the airport is tedious enough without that little delight.
Seem to recall they don't take Ferraris, Maseratis or Bentleys... shame, not really a problem for me of course; the driver is always a little disappointed to be driving off in my commuting hack (very ropey 223K mile 1998 Avensis..!)
Anyway, if you're using them this month I've got a 25% discount code buried somewhere in my emails.
