Just had the Tuscan for 1 day and I've got some niggling problems already.

I've had Diagnostic Code C - 'Water not activating zero switch/switch failed/open circuit' a number of times today and it can be cleared but comes back. Does Code C mean that I have problem with the Thermostat, connections or is it something more serious?

I was lucky that I'd just put a full tank of fuel in before the boot decided not to work anymore. Is it a fuse or something more serious? Can someone please send me an email with how to open the boot when the boot button won't open it.

Just had the 12K service before picking the car up yesterday so I will be heading back to the dealer next week.

Hell the car is fun. I thought my old Griff was a blast but this is even better.

Thanks
Onny.

Dunno re Code C. Get it checked probably a loose connection.

Your bootlid badge button should work fine. The central locking button beside the immobilsor slot by the radio also locks the boot, so if you have accidentally pressed that then the boot will not open until you alarm and disarm the car. If it's not that then the switch might need adjusted. Remember you may have to lift the bootlid slighty as you press the button to open it. If you can hear the solonoid activating then that may be the problem.

Good luck and enjoy the Tuscan...

I've armed and dis-armed the alarm a number of times and the boot still doesn't open and there is no solonoid activating noices either.

Any other ideas? Is there a way to open the boot with using the release button?

Thanks
Onny.

Haven't got a manual in front of me but did the Code C start at the same time as the boot failing ? Just wondering is they're on a common fuse.....

yes, I was also about to suggest a fuse, then if you bought if from a TVR dealer phone them to find out how to get into the boot the secret way, if not the factory, or drive to your nearest TVR dealer, if you have enough petrol

The boot also will not open for a few secs when you first turn off the alarm and the window leds are flashing. I thought mine had packed in once because of this.

....and don't forget the boot won't open if you press the internal lock button until you active and de-activate the alarm.

Cheers,

Andy.

I did managed to open the boot a number of times including after the Code C Problem first appeared. It could be a dodgy fuse, I've have a look around the fuse box tomorrow. I'll give the dealer a call about the secret way in just in case I need to fill up again and tell him about the code c problem as well.

Thanks everyone.
