Audi A3 DSG

A friend has just bought an A3 06 plate (2.0 Deisel) with the DSG box. Upon looking at the history and speaking to previous garages which serviced it he found out that the gear box needs new 'internals' at about every 40K. Luckily this has just been carried out (with new cambelt) and also a new flywheel (which doesnt sound too good!).

Upon reading about the dsg box I guess they mean it needs two new clutches every 40k? I guess they take more of a hammering than a regular dry clutch on a manual?

Any info on servicing and general about the DSG box appriciated.

No. It needs an oil & filter change every 40k.
