Well, after being on a few forums I thought it was time to maybe get on to a forum where its all petrol heads, or in my case diesel head... anyways I ain't gonna get particular about that lol...

My car is a Kia Pro Cee'd Sport CRDi. The car comes with all the toys you could think of and packs a big healthy 2.0 Turbo Diesel under the hood. Out the factory it only comes with 138bhp and 305nm, after I bought a little black box it now magically produces 174bhp and 381nm of torque... and before all the tuning box haters start on me, the car has a warranty so a remap is out the question. Since fitting the tuning box the car has seen 145mph on the speedo, and can do 0-62mph in 8.9 seconds. I used the Android application "Torque PRO" to work out these figures.

Aside from all the numbers and technical jargon its a very nice car to drive. As standard it is lowered 30mm from the standard five door variation the Kia Cee'd... as you may have seen going nuts round the top gear test track. Inside it has leather seats, automatic windows, electric folding mirrors, a sunglasses holder (which I think is pretty nifty lol), and a surprisingly good sound system within the car, which includes AUX In and iPod connections. It also has climate control, cruise control... not bad for a Kia. Anyway enough of me talking like an excited kid at christmas, heres some photos for you all to feast your eyes on... the car is completely standard inside and out.

These are the photos of when I bought it

I love remapped diesels, having had bmw, audi, pegeout etc all remapped makes a difference.

Sounds like a good car, what is the interior like.i.e feel and is the 2.0 a bigger jump over the 1.6?

Nice looking car and something different. I am however surprised by the 0-60 figure you've quoted. Given the power it now produces I would assume at least a sub 8 second time. Unless that's the stock time?

I like it. Can't help but think a 175 bhp turbo diesel will be a tad quicker than 9 seconds to 60 mind..

I would have thought so, unless its got very long gearing? My 130bhp Ibiza does it in 9 seconds, and with a remap they are meant to be closer to 8.

On topic, warranty or not, tuning boxes aren't the best way of getting extra power out. I'd personally do it properly or not at all.
