A double whammy of questions here:

Are there any / many Cerb owners in the South West, specifically Exeter? If there are any nearby I may be in need of your help and possibly the lend of your electrical control boxes to solve a problem.

Which leads to next question...

I am looking for replacement control boxes:
a steering wheel control box (grey and mounted above drivers knees)
a heater control box (back of passenger footwell)
and also an unknown control box in the boot (above fuel tank) on the far right.

The reason I don't know is because the car is with a garage at the minute and i'm trying to do some digging on their behalf.

I currently have the ignition control box, the window and doors controller. I'm working totally from memory but i believe i've whittled it down to the headlights main and dipped control box.

Last statement is that if anyone is heading to Colin Apps (TVRSSW) open day tomorrow I will be there for a chat

Here's a place that specialise in repairs to TVR ECU's .... not engine ECU's unfortunately.

http://pselectronicsolutions.co.uk

Haven't used them but have had some very informative dialogue with them about the issues I had.
I think they may well be based in the South West but my memory fails me on that score.

I would be really very cautious about plugging in a known good control box into your car as a troubleshooting method. Most of them would be fine but any of the ones with a PIC16 microcontroler i.e. the door/window box could be killed if its your car wiring that's faulty. It is far safer to test the boxes from your car on a known good car rather than the other way round.

The common problem with the headlight control box is the wiring close to the connector and the connector itself. They get hot and melt.
Cure? Either replace the cable connector and the PCB mounted one or solder the wires direct to the PCB... It cured all of my headlight faults!

Definately the Dim/dip box on far righthand side. PSsolutions are really good and efficient, they did my control boxes for £40 each inc fixing them!!

thanks all for chipping in.

I received a steering control box from Bell Hill and it has the larger (17 way? if im correct) terminal to clip into, however i was expecting a 5 way connection too, to connect to ribbon cable. There is no plastic clip housing for the 5 way connector, thus i assume it is missing? Should there be one? If this is the case I may be sending it back for one that has the correct terminals, Unless i can find an adequate 5 way housing to connect to the circuit board inside.

Sorry no pic to post to clarify at the moment.
