Hi all,

Posted these in the photography thread today but thought it would make a worthy topic in this section also.

I was recently commissioned to shoot some promotional shots for Evanta's latest bespoke/unique creation. It's a DB4 GT Zagato, handmade using a one-piece carbon/kevlar fibre shell. It was build from a DB7 Donor car and still retains the V12 engine. An absolute epic creation and a real joy to photograph.

The first photoshoot was on location at a scrapyard (it was a concept they were using for a video, and I was asked to shoot some images in between filming).

I've written a blog post containing lots of detailed information on the car, and more images from my shoot. Please feel free to take a look and let me know what you think... http://blog.richardpardon.co.uk/?p=2096

The second photoshoot took place inside a cove studio, with the idea of getting some 'stock' style shots for a fact sheet. After this was done I went on to produce something slightly more creatively using a light painting technique....

Again, I've written a blog post with more shots from the studio session and if your interested you can take a look here... http://blog.richardpardon.co.uk/?p=2125

Thanks for taking the time to read this thread, hope you enjoyed it! smile

Great looking car and great photos. This is what my ideal classic car would be—classic styling with modern day internals. Best of both worlds.

Agreed Karl, has such presence on the road. Can also say, having been out in the Zagato, drives fantastic! Ideally suited to cruising around the south of France or something! smile

Hi Richard,

Great photos.... Amazing....

I have just been flicking through your portfolio and saw you have a picture of my cousin on there racing British touring car (Tony Gillham) in the pink and green vauxhaul...

Small world.

How much would it cost for you to take some nice photos of my car??

This is my car,

Thanks for the kind comments, small world after all! Have quite a few of Tony Gilham from last season as I covered a fair few rounds of the BTCC. Congratulations to him on his recent podium at Donington.

Are you able to drop me an e-mail on studio@richardpardon.co.uk?

Can discuss a few options with you then (where/when/ideas etc). Have taken a quick look at the thread and it would be fantastic to photograph! Car looks like it means business even as its parked.

Many thanks,

Richard
