Hi all, I've just booked flights out for the weekend.

Never been to Monaco before and the only 'reasonable' priced tickets are the 'Rocher' tickets. I've been reading up and these seem to be extremely crouded. Has anyone any experience of them?

Also, someone else has said that it's best to turn up without tickets and about an hour before the race the restaurants/cafes sell off their remaining seats for next to nothing? Again, has anyone any comments?

Cheers in advance!

Richer is a steep bank, where you stand. Need to be there at 5am on race day to pick a spot.

Would not recommend. Better to bite the bullet and get a grand stand ticket.

Not many left as I was in booking office yesterday

So if you turn up without any tickets can you not see anything, ie not get anywhere near to the track?

Not that I am aware of. I've always been with grandstand tickets and have yet to see any area that you could watch a part of the race without tickets. Everything is very cleverly protected from preying eyes. You can hear it all though smile
