1997 SL320 Hood ECU ?

I was silly and let the battery go flat,jump started and everything works except the roof and the role bar.(Both switches are illuminated when driving) I did this last year and the Merc` Dealer reset it with their Diag` tool in no time.Simple question,is there a "trick" I can do myself or what ever before I pay them £90 to plug their kit in.

Did that as they were stuck in the up position. Its strange this happens,everything works, even the radio did not go to "code in",just the roof and the roll bar are not working.

Never jump start a R129! Just do a Google search and read the horror stories.

You have me worried now!! I did not jump start it from another car but had it charging at about 10-15amps WITHOUT disconnecting the battery and then started it. I will not "play" anymore and go and see my Merc`Specialist. The same thing happened last year and all it needed was resetting so I hope I get the same result this year.

Just to let you know she went into John Griffiths of Caversham who reset everything and brought it all back to life, all is well with no damage.
