Le Mans Classic and the Tour de France

Please be aware, if you are coming on the Wednesday, that the Tour de France is going through Rouen on the Wednesday. According to the Tour website, roads will be closed from noon, but I don't necessarily trust that, and they may close earlier. Just a heads up folks, so you don't as happened to me with the Giro d'Italia last year, end up spending nearly three hours sitting on top of a mountain pass.

Thanks for the info. On the Weds night ferry - is the tour anywhere between St Malo and Le Mans on the Thursday?

Which is why we have booked a hotel well away from Rouen (or the route!)

I'd quite like to see the Tour, but the tales of the traffic and general choas put me off!
