hopefuly someone will restore it to its former glory, its priced low enough to make it a viable project providing its not rotten underneath.

It drives really well the interior will be ripped out & renewed in the next couple of weeks the rear lights will be returned back to the originals, hopefuly someone will restore it to its former glory, its priced low enough to make it a viable project providing its not rotten underneath.
The roof on the photo looks awfull but its not too bad in the flesh so not sure what to do with that the chassis is really sound very suprised about that.
New front calipers waiting to go on with bigger discs braided hoses etc
New seats & roll cage
Should take a few weeks will post pics when done .
Picked it up today & drove it 200miles home grinned all the way home

Good on you sarbec. It will be nice to see it returned to its former glory.
Leave the roof for now. The Griff is meant to be driven roof-down in any weather anyway - unlike the Chim which seems to be a FHC not a convertible
- and the split roof is an absolute godsend for when you're touring.

If you can make it, PLEASE don't do anything to it, so we can all marvel at how bad it is
and think of the praise that will be lavished on you when you bring it next year tranformed
Hmmm not sure if I could stand another 200 miles with the red carpet etc whoever thought the carpet would match the outside I will never know
