this Sunday.

Since Birmingham was the hub of car manufacturing in the UK there must be loads of car related things to do nearby. I'll be there this Sunday so what can you advise for 2 lads to do while our wives are in a beauty trade show. Thanks in advance.

(mods, please leave here for a while for the higher traffic as opposed to hols and travel, cheers)

Nothing car related these days in Brum. At least not the last time I was home. I do however stand to be corrected.

Pedant mode - neither Coventry or Gaydon are in BIrmingham. The only thing I can think of is the Motorcyle Musuem down by the airport.

You could do a burnout in a TVR. Or change the air filter in a Ford Focus. Anything really.

Ultra pedant mode: I mentioned that gaydon is only 40 minutes away, not that it was in Birmingham. If they have motorised transport, might be ideal if they have a whole day to kill.

Grammar nazi stage two mode: You made a slight error involving capitals when spelling "Birmingham" sir.

Might be worth a look, thanks. Can we make it last a day?

I've heard of Hams Hall but not sure where. What goes on there then?

We do have transport, forgot to mention. 40 mins is ok. What are the headliners on display?

Being a brummie I am allowed to fk up the spelling! Cos I said so & I blame the stupid iPad fo the grammatical error.

And I know that the Motorcycle Museum, technically, is in Solihull. However......
