LFW: Graduate Engineer around Nottingham
Discussion
Hello,
I am about to graduate with a degree in Acoustical Engineering from ISVR at University of Southampton. I am seeking a graduate opportunity in the Nottingham region but I am prepared to travel to the surrounding areas. Ideally I would like a job in the automotive industry or consultancy work, however I do not intend to limit myself to just these options. I have a good knowledge of general engineering principles and have specialised in acoustics. In particular this includes noise control, vibration, dynamics and fluids, among other topics.
If you are seeking a graduate engineer then I would love to hear of details. If you PM me I can send you a cover letter and CV.
Regards.

Try pinging your CV to Rolls-Royce Subs and to the Aero division. There are a lot of lads who commute in from Nots.
RR need 1000 engineers world wide this year, and every 3rd desk is occupied by a sub contractor.Plus all key RR suppliers, Meggit, Parker, Goodrich, Eton, Summitomo, Assystem, Volvo Aerospace, ITP (Spain) etc who have office space in Derby are desperate.
JLR say they need 5000 engineers over the next 5 years world wide.
