If money were no object and/or yhou were to start a kitcar firm and/or you just had the skills to do it.. what would your design be like?

But as a potential neat kitcar type project i reckon ripping the VW ecoracer off would be very cool. and it's neat because VW never had the knackers to do it themselves so you're not 'faking' anything.

elans have got so dear (and frankly are such a "it's an original broom apart from the 3 new heads and two new handles" car) that i wonder if elan 'reimaginations' will start to increase(??). given that no one would buy the title to a bitsa failed project for a couple of grand off the classifieds so it was tax free..do you reckon you'd be able to SVA/ISVA (whatever it is now) the result? If you could build in some side protection i'd love one of those...
