Octane magazine track day May 24th.
Discussion
My third year with Octane and a fine mix of classic and modern ( especially 911's) , GT40, racing tin tops, the unusual, tour auto types and sometimes the rare. Well worth a look if you are in the area. I am particularly looking for a photographer to get a few shots of my 911 for me to update my facebook page. Robert ? Come and say hello, Steve
BRILLIANT!! Fantastic weather, loads of track time and a great mix of interesting cars, both classic and a few modern. Also, I have to confess that, having not done an Octane day before, I had expected it to be populated by quite alot of hoity toity people. I couldn't have been more wrong. There was a great atmosphere and a paddock filled with friendly and enthusiastic people. I will definitely be doing their day again!
Glad you enjoyed it. I think you were the silver Alfa that came past the pits at a good rate. I do the Octane day for the same reasons. You get a good range of cars ancient and modern. How about a Porsche 997 GT2 and a 4L. alumnium open tub no seatbelts something from a VSCC member all on the same trackday.Everybody wants to talk about cars and we get a good lunch. Have booked the October day, Steve
