Any compact camera tech experts? Lumix LCD screen removal

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX550 which is a great little pocket camera, but has a known problem regarding dust getting into the lens and spoiling the pictures.

There are numerous guides to cleaning the dust off, but the problem I have is that (unlike in the various DIY videos) the LCD touchscreen on my camera does not come off with the back-plate, and I can't see an obvious way of removing the screen to access the lens - there doesn't seem to be any clips or screws holding it in place, but it isn't budging! Can anyone here help?
