He won both 911 races.
The man is of immense talent, can you say he might be in the top 5 drivers of all time?
I'm trying to think of faults with him and I can only think of that he is French...not sure that can really be classed as a fault.

One of the all time greats of Motorsport - and the Greatest at the moment!
Not afraid to try other disciplines; LMP1 2nd at Le Mans in a Pescarolo-Judd, GT's etc was quick in a F1 test. I actually think this might be his last year in the WRC. He has his Sportscar team, and the Porsche GT3 cars - I think that's were his future lies; driving cars with power & RWD.

How good is Loeb? Bloody awesome I and many others would say!
His corner entry speed is rediculous and he manages to carry it all the way through fairly straight like nobody else can! His consistancy is amazing too and he seems to be able to process so much more information and keep calm....well unless Ogier is in the team that is
Its just a shame that since Gronholm retired the oposition has been pretty poor and self distructed at any rare chances the rally GOAT has given them!

Not sure that that is as big an issue as some would have you believe. Sure he might need to do a few ‘other’ races before they will hand one over but it certainly isn’t a deal breaker.Except the FIA who wouldn't grant him a super licence.
Leob chose to stay in WRC a number of years ago when, like Rossi, it was clear that he was all but there in terms of pace but on personal analysis chose not to pursue it any further as they were still the best in the business at their sport and were not ready to be mid fielders until they got the right drive and craft just to say “I am a F1 driver”. I have HUGE respect for both of them for that because to those that really matter F1 is not the only game in town. Just look at the DTM and lat me know how well the ex F1 stars have done there...
A lot knock him for not having perhaps the most glittering of opposition all the time. I also think that MSC had a very easy time of it (comparatively) during a number of his championship years but there is a point at which you have to say fair play, they may have had some easy days but not all of them were...
How good is he? Apples and Pears I’m afraid but if you were to ask me to pick an all rounder to do an endurance race, a rally and an F1 race I would pick Leob over any other current driver for my team without a second thought. More difficult would be who would be the next best choice, and I’m not sure it wouldn’t be a Finnish chap...
(I'm only envious of his talent and the fact that he is not British He has won 8 or 9 titles on the trot, i cant remember the exact number, which makes him a legend in my opinion. He has trounced the opposition & there is no one who can touch hm at the moment.
How would he cope with F1? Easy. He would be a winner within a couple of GP's - just a pity that he won't get the opportunity in these days of strictly 2 car teams.
How good would it be to see him in a third Red Bull? Reckon he would have the measure of the finger in no time.
