ME0150 Heater Control Module

Anyone know if there are multiple versions of these specific to cars with or without aircon etc?

My ice warning light is playing up, coming on when it shouldn't and sometimes displaying a deep red colour indicating a problem (though funnily enough it works fine when the temperture is low enough)

Anyway have changed the module in the nose to no avail and now have a replacement ME0150 - however when I plug it in none of the fan controls work and nor does the aircon button - and typical of course the bloody ice warning light works fine!!

Have you tried connecting the ribbons into the heater box both ways?

Ps electronics specialise in the boxes if you end up needing him to check if it's working fine. Sometimes the pins burn out on the connectors as well, although you have probably checked these.
