Hi all...

Got 9 points (all sp30) I'm 38 and have a 4.2 Cerbera. I paid £360 for 2000 miles but can pay an extra £50 for another 3000 miles inc trackday cover... I thought this was cheap!!

That is cheap, I have had a renewal from mannings for more than that, considering I've got a clean licence and 6 years no claims they are taking the piss out of me. How can someone with nine points be getting cheaper quotes than I can?

I guess it might be the cars age and value compared to newer ones. Maybe modifications? I pay more, not had points since 1987 (!), no accidents or claims forever, older, low risk location, locked in a garage etc also via mannings.

Yep... definately with a crankshaft issue or bottom end problem. I thought it was a few months back to be honest, with the plate thrown in... £8995

I remember that one, blue with headlight conversion down south. This one was off pistonheads £6500.The plate had to be thrown in coz it was sorned.Plate must be worth a few quid, with the prices ive seen asked for some cerb plates.

I remember it being up for sale, hence the question. Outriggers and an engine issue. Well done, bargain and kept it alive...!!
